Actor Prepares – The School for Actor
Actor Prepares was initiated in 2005 in the Indian Entertainment capital, Mumbai by reputed Indian Actor, Anupam Kher. A veteran actor of more than 400 Indian films, he has also acted in more than 30 international films including British hits like "Bend It Like Beckham" and "Bride and Prejudice".
Actor Prepares UK and Europe was launched in March 2008 and the first 3 month Course started in September of that year. The UK and Europe arm was brought together through the entrepreneurial efforts of Ash Verma, the CEO of Heathrow City Partnership and Paula Sayer, College Director of Ealing Institute of Media – EIM (part of Ealing Hammersmith and West London College).

The Three month course:

Past courses:
Following an overwhelming response for auditions, seven students were shortlisted for the first course. These students showed a tremendous flair for acting and portrayed raw skills and energy that needed to be harnessed to funnel their acting talents. Anupam Kher personally conducted some of the workshops in the first week.
As a part of the course, students spent a week in the Mumbai School where they learnt Martial Arts and further developed their acting skills. They visited amazing sets and facilities and also had a sneak preview of some high profile shoots and meetings with established and reputed actors and directors. The highlight of the trip was to perform in front of fellow students from UK and Mumbai under the coaching and guidance of Anupam Kher and be auditioned by Yash Raj Studios.
13 enthusiastic and talented students were shortlisted and selected from yet again an overwhelming response for the auditions that were conducted for this course.
